Christmas Eve & Day

We tried something new this year for Christmas Eve and I LOVED it!  I spent the day in the kitchen! One at a time, the kids came and chose a recipe and together we made whatever cookie/bar/brownie that they wanted.  It was wonderful!  And of course it was delicious.
Christmas morning came and the presents were plentiful!

Eliza got a bike with gears!  YAHOO!

Someone was excited that he got the bag!

Eliza also got sewing lessons...she was pretty excited, don't you think?

I grabbed this sweatshirt...I had no idea what I had bought...
cool kid on the block...drone flying!
Everyone got an umbrella!

Christmas is such an exciting time of the year and I love being a parent and watching my kids excitement after we have worked so hard on trying to supply them with a few things that they have wanted so badly!

Discovery Museum

The girls and I met up with Aunt Jenny & Jack at the Discovery Museum to learn lots about space and astronauts.  It was super fun!  And a great way to kill a few hours

Christmas Prep

Off and on you could find us enjoying all the wonderful activities around town, embracing the Christmas season!

We got super lucky when we visited old town and the big man had an empty lap!  And thanks to new friends we had the coolest advent calendar ever--a candle to burn with dinner each night.  It was so super fun...even when Abby's hair caught on fire. :)

paella night

Paella is no simple dish around here!  It takes the big guns.  :)  hahaha.  Ben did a fabulous job with his paella's...we should eat them more.

Webster family nativity 2016

There is something wrong about Joseph and Mary this year...is it that they are siblings or is it that Joseph has a black eye and Mary no teeth?  I don't know but we really couldn't keep ourselves from laughing about our redneck nativity!
or maybe it was because this kid couldn't stop from being a 10 year old boy...

the angel choir was beautiful though, wasn't it?

End of the year class performances

Abbys class put together a nativity performance and song:

Violet's class performed a play - I guess it could be called a musical!  And we all got to do the chicken dance together at the end.

Eliza's class sang us lots of fun Christmas tunes--both classic and new ones!

End of the Year Gymnastics Show

The girls chose gymnastics instead of soccer...Eliza did Agility Training and Abby & Violet did regular gymnastics.  The show was great and we were all amazed when Eliza did her first flip unassisted ever!  Way to go girl

And in the end, we had a surprise visit:
