Last Day of School

Eliza finished Kindergarten in time for lunch so we joined some friends and finished the school year right!  We had a fantastically crazy lunch at SmashBurger and then ran to get Xander and then to swim practice!  PHEw!  Started the summer out right!

More Birthdays!

We also celebrated our favorite man of the house! happy birthday to our dad! We tried our best to make him happy, make him yummy food

we tried to let him take a nap...but this is what happened instead...
So thankful that Nana made dinner so we could go torture her instead!
And we skyped our cousin Ethan who shares Daddy's birthday while we were there!

The celebration continued as Daddy requested a fruit basket cake and we had Nana & Grumpy and Papa & Grammy Ann over for Memorial Day dinner!

Happy #4 Violet!

I cannot believe that this little beauty is FOUR! Of course we started her day with a traditional birthday doughnut:
And then the little one got super lucky because it was my turn to teach preschool so she had all her preschool friends here (plus a few more) to celebrate her day in a Frozen sort of way!  Here is what we came up with for cupcakes...
We wanted to build a snowman...(who doesn't when it's with marshmallows and pretzels!
We played pin the snowflake on Elsa--you can't see the amazing drawing that Violet's Nana did for the occasion...let's just say, it's aMaZiNg!!!
We had jello ice and cupcakes for dessert, snowman cheese sticks, and marshmallows and pretzels.
Violet wanted a separate cake from her birthday party...one just for her family.
We met up with Daddy for a special birthday treat!
Such a fun birthday!  Violet is such a great and loveable part of our family.  She tries very hard to please and do what she is suppose to. She is trying really hard to separate herself as a big girl and not always have Abby as her tag-a-long.  She loves preschool and her friends.  She wants to learn to read so badly and loves memorizing her favorite books.  Violet is full of style and life and wants to be "big." She thinks she can trade clothes with her big sister Eliza already! (See picture below of shorts!!).  And we've hit a big milestone as Violet finally LOVES to swing and pumps herself on the swing!  Yahoo!!  We love Violet so much and are so glad that she is part of our eternal familY!

Parkour

I am learning to lift weights with my friend Lisa.  Lisa's kids are super in to parkour.  Their garage is a fun beginning to the sport.  My girls are LOVING the rope climbing and ring swinging fun they get to have while I do my squats and dead lifts.

Mustache Monday

The kids and I got creative for Mustache Monday for school spirit for the book fair. :) I love that they will indulge me as I live vicariously through them

Papa & Grammy Ann

Papa Webster was very blessed and lucky to find himself Grammy Ann.  They were married on May 17th in a beautiful garden wedding.  The happy couple met while working in the Sacramento Temple.  We are grateful for the happiness she brings him and grateful for someone willing to try and play Grandma to our ruffians (all 17 of them!) and her own (all 15 of them!)  Yes that's right, they now have 8 children (plus their spouses) and 32 grandchild to love and inspire.  YIKES!

Mothers Day 2014

Bummer deal but I got strep throat the week of Mothers Day. I really didn't think it was strep until Saturday and I was pretty dead by the time I got swabbed and antibiotics. I was suppose to speak at church on Mother's Day...I definitely got out of that! :)   My loving family really tried hard to make it a special day...check out my breakfast!  Thankfully I had enough antibiotics in me to swallow this delicious plate...

 Me & my kiddos!
 No real kisses!!!
While everyone was at church, I decided to treat myself to a homemade foot pedicure!
And the biggest surprise of all-Flowers showed up while I was home alone...they were all closed up and bloomed over the next two weeks into a huge gorgeous bouquet!
This was a truly restful Mother's day.  Loved it!
